George Ault and 1940's America

While tourists were at the Cherry Blossom Parade, I went to the Portrait Gallery/American Art Museum.  By far my favorite museum in D.C.  They continue to change up the exhibits so it is always interesting.  I usually hit one or two exhibits for about an hour, leaving much more to see the next time I visit.  This time the exhibit was George Ault and 1940's America.  It was stunning and I feel in love with the realism of his work.
